ABOUT

Ms. Towns joined BSM in 2008 and is located in Incline Village, Nev.

Prior to joining BSM, Ms. Towns spent more than 12 years working in various accounting and finance roles. She began her BSM career working as an accounting specialist, later joining the financial benchmarking team before accepting her current role in 2015.


AREAS OF
EXPERTISE

In her current role, Ms. Towns works closely with the president and CEO on all financial and accounting matters. Her primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
  • Planning, organizing, and coordinating year-end closeout processes
  • Preparing financial statements, including cash flow statements
  • Planning, budgeting, and authorizing expenditures
  • Developing annual financial plans and projections for the company
  • Conducting financial assessments for service lines

In addition to the above duties, Ms. Towns also works with the Director of Human Resources & Finance to develop and manage the following:

  • Completing annual company taxes
  • Developing and analyzing the company budget

EDUCATION

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, emphasis in Accounting and Marketing, Northeastern University, Boston
