This User Guide provides:
- An overview of the navigation used within
the site; and
- The recommended desktop configuration for
membership subscribers.
Web site Navigation
All navigation within the site is done using
a point-and-click process. All pages contain a horizontal
menu located at the top of the page. For subtopics within
a main selection, you will find the categories within a
main page either as underlined text and/or icons.
All navigation is contained within the site
except for the occasional use of your browser's back button.

Configuration for Membership Subscribers

In order to make the maximum use of our Member Services
sites, it is recommended subscribers have Microsoft®
Excel and Microsoft® Word on their computer. If
the subscriber does not have these software programs,
we suggest acquiring one of the Microsoft office-based
packages. These can be purchased online by visiting
the Microsoft website or other software purchasing
sites online, or at your local retail store.
Depending on how your browser is configured, it will
either launch Excel and/or Word files directly in
your spreadsheet or word document software or open
the file within the browser. In either case, you can
save, edit and print these files. To return to the
site, close the file and exit the spreadsheet or document
program.

Some
of our pages contain Macromedia Flash content. If
you are not using Netscape Navigator 4.06 or higher
or Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher, you may need
to download and install the player. The player is
free and can be downloaded from the Macromedia Flash
Player Download Center site. The download takes approximately
1 minute and instructions are provided. Click on the
Macromedia Flash Player icon to download the software.

For accessing many of our presentation materials,
you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader. The reader
is free and can be downloaded from the Adobe site.
It is recommended that you use Adobe Reader 5.0 or
higher for best results. The download takes only a
few minutes. Click on the Adobe icon to download the
software.
